Master Practitioner Diploma

Updated over a week ago

The Master Practitioner Diploma is exclusively available to graduates of the IOPN Diploma. Please read on to determine your eligibility and the steps you will be required to take if you do not automatically meet our eligibility requirements.

The IOPN Diploma has evolved over the last few years. In November 2022, the IOPN Diploma achieved accreditation status. This is important, as the IOPN Diploma cohort you enrolled on (and graduated from) will determine whether or not you are automatically eligible for the Master Practitioner Diploma. Where you are a graduate of the IOPN Diploma but do not automatically meet our eligibility requirements, this article will explain the necessary steps you will need to take to become eligible.

Automatic eligibility

This applies to you if you enrolled on (and graduated from) the November 2022 cohort (or a cohort thereafter). This is because this was the first cohort to be recognised as accredited by CFI (OfQual AO). As such, you will automatically be deemed eligible for the Master Practitioner Diploma.

If you do not qualify for automatic eligibility

This applies to you if you enrolled on (and graduated from) an IOPN Diploma cohort before November 2022. Please read on to understand the steps you will be required to take with our assistance to become eligible.

Recognition of prior learning (RPL)

As mentioned earlier in this article, the IOPN Diploma has evolved over the years and importantly, in November 2022 we achieved programme accreditation.

When we look at the components of the accredited version of the IOPN Diploma now, compared to when you enrolled (and graduated) from the programme, a lot has changed.

However, we are in the process of developing our RPL policy. This enables us to recognise your prior learning, given you will have met and completed a significant amount of the learning outcomes and assessment criteria already. Where we've identified a shortfall - in other words, where you've not yet met the learning outcomes and assessment criteria of the accredited version of the IOPN Diploma, you will be required to sit an examination.

We will announce more news in this in the coming months, as we continue to develop this policy.
