For graduates of the IOPN Diploma in Performance Nutrition, they will be required to undergo an RPL examination.

Why?

It's important to note that graduates of the IOPN Diploma in Sports Nutrition will have met the pre-requisite criteria of the IOPN Master Practitioner Diploma in full. It is for this reason why students of the IOPN Diploma in Performance Nutrition will be required to sit one open-book exam that covers the outstanding assessment criteria not covered in the Diploma in Performance Nutrition but addressed in the IOPN Diploma in Sports Nutrition. Alternatively, those graduates who can demonstrate tangible evidence related to the assessment criteria of the exam can submit this as alternative evidence, which will be considered.

The exam will be available to students at the end of November. Please note that students who wish to sit the exam will not incur a fee; however, they may be required to purchase specific textbooks as part of the resources needed to address the exam criteria. Further information pertaining to the exam (including study criteria and resources) will be provided by the middle of November 2024. Please check back in to view this article then.
